Þingvellir is certainly a heartfelt place for Icelanders. History at every footstep and the main role in many a novel and pieces of poetry. Art as well, indeed. This book contains the arduous work of documenting, collecting and photographing the Icelandic art work focused  on Þingvellir and is well worth the appreciation.
