Now here is a book with a long and truly remarkable history. Dating back to 1933 when two young men came together to make a song to be performed that the festival at the Vestmanna Islands in the south of Iceland. The two young men were Oddgeir Kristjánsson and Árni úr eyjum and since then a new song has been made for each festival. Those songs are collected here, with guitar chords and short interviews with the musicians behind the songs.
