This story, written by Finnbogi Hermannsson, based on events that took place in World War II. Two German soldiers, survivors from a shipwreck turn up on the south shores of Iceland. They are then held captive under extreme condition by the farmer in Selsund. Into the narrationn Finnbogi weaves the story of a young woman from Reykjavík trying locate her boyfriend.
