The author of this book of poetry, Jón Hjartarsson, is an actor by trade and has played on stages in Iceland and in movies and television for decades. He has also written plays and scripts for television though this is his first book of poetry. Beautiful book indeed and won him The Tómas Guðmundsson Poetry Prize.
