Tómas Guðmundsson (1901 - 1983) was and is still one of the most beloved poets in Iceland. A true Reykjavík's romantic and a traditional lyrisist whose wit,passion and humour earned him his status as Reykjavik's court poet number one. His books have though been unavailable for a long time which is thankfully corrected with this publication with an introduction by authorSölva Björn Sigurðsson.
