A father and son take to the road in Iceland on an old jeep. Their roles have changed as the son is now taking care of his elderly father recently diagnosed with brain tumor. Traveling brings back memories and the son has to take on responsibility for his father's wellbeing. This is Björn Halldórsson's first novel, having previously published the collection of short stories Smáglæpir in 2017.
