It´s seven o´clock on the Hreiðarsstaða mountain. Jóhannes Sigvaldason grew up in the country side when the old time was meeting with the new in Iceland. The clock wasn´t f. ex. an ever presence. One usually quit working in the summer time when the sun had reached the Hreiðarsstaða mountain. Fantastic and insightful autobiography.
