The first Icelandic book to contain only short stories and short prose poetry was Flugur by Jón Thoroddsen that was published in 1922. So it makes sense that a collection of Icelandic short prose from 1922 - 2022 should give a friendly nod to that pioneer work. This book is also edited by one of Iceland's most known short prose author Óskar Árni Óskarsson.
