A much welcome and needed collection of poems by Icelandic author Ólafur Jóhann Sigurðsson (1918 - 1988). Ólafur was a part of the modernist poets in Iceland that had a lasting effect on Icelandic peotry and writing. He was awarded the Nordic Council´s Literature Prize in 1976.
