The Danish artist Johannes Larsen traveled twice to Iceland 1927 and 1930. He used his time to make drawings of sites from the Icelandic sagas. In this book Vibeke Nørgaard Nielsen describes his drawings, based on his journals and letters. The Danish title is Sagafærden : Island oplevet af Johannes Larsen 1927-1930.
