This book is the first volume in a new series about old Icelandic biblical translations published by Árnastofnun. It contains the story of Júdít, one of the apochrypal books of the Old Testament. The translation is made from latin that is believed to date from the 12. century but the translation survives in a manuscript dating from the last third of the 13. century AM 764 4to.
