Icelandic economist and former parliamentary member Þröstur Ólafsson, studied in Berlin in the 1960. He witnessed the student revolutions and political turmoil in Europe before heading back to Iceland. Once there he was an active member of the social democrat party in Iceland and worked as an assistant to many ministers. This autobiography also contains his thoughts on the current situation in the world today such as the environmental hazard.
