Halldór H. Jónsson (1912 - 1992) was at the same time a prolific and known architect as well as an influential person in Icelandic business life. He was actually so popular and so much a demand in business life in Iceland, that he was sometimes referred to as "chairman of Iceland". He was though not much for the spotlight and so this biography and list of his architectural work, is welcome indeed.
