A retrospective over the life and work of Icelandic artist Gunnar Örn Gunnarsson (1946 - 2008). He studied playing cello in Copenhagen and worked as a painter as well before settling on his career as an artist in 1964. Something of an outsider for some time in the Icelandic art world, his works are now owned by large art museums all over the world.
