To say Jochum Magnús Eggertsson (1896 – 1966) was an eccentric is too easy a description of a man that had so many talents and interests. He took the artist name Skuggi and among many other things collected documents about magic and spells and published in his Galdraskræða (Sorcerer's Screed: The Icelandic Book of Magic Spells). He also wrote short stories and this is a collection of his stories, full of fantasy and imagination. With an introduction by music critic Árni Matthíasson.
