This book is published celebrating the sixtieth birthday of the island of Surtsey, outside the south coast of Iceland. It is a collection of photographs, texts and artwork by Þorgerður Ólafsdóttir done in the course of her research project Relics of Nature. Texts are both in Icelandic and English.
