Some forty years ago, two records that had a fundamental impact on Icelandic music, history, creativity and performance, saw the light of day. Ísbjarnarblús and Geislavirkir. The first was Bubbi Morthens solo record, the other was with his band Utangarðsmenn. It was just simply revolutionary, it had not been done before.
