Halldór Einarsson was a master woodcutter that lived for a long time in Chicago. While living there he regularly, nay frequently sent out letters to his friends and relatives back home in Iceland. Sadly all those masterful letters are lost. Letters he received while living in Chicago have however remained and most of them are included here in this wonderfully lively book.
