Valur Gunnarsson is an author, historian and a journalist with an interest in Russia and Eastern Europe. While living in Finland he also studied Russian and Russian society and history in the beginning of the twenty first century. This book is a culmination of that interest as welll as his travels in Belarus in winter and spring of 2020.
