Þormóður was a motor boat that on the 17. of February 1943 went from Patreksfjörður in the southern part of the Westfjords in Iceland, to Reykjavík. On board was the crew of seven and twenty four passangers. On the evening that day it hit a reef and sank. No one survived. In this book rev. Jakob Ágúst Hjálmarsson deals with this horrible tragedy for the first time.
