Björn Thoroddssen, Gunnar Þórðarsson and Jón Rafnsson founded the trio Guitar Islancio in 1998. The have devoted themselves to folksongs that people have played and sung throughout the centuries. Chords for guitar and piano accompany each song with texts in English and German as well as Icelandic.
